How to Paint Nails

Nail painting is an activity carried out by millions of women around the world, regardless of age, sexual orientation and culture.

The reason for this is that painting this part of the body can give a radical turn to the appearance of your hands, since a good design painted with quality will turn the eyes of a lot of people towards you, which is always positive.

Such is its effect, that many people of the male gender have also begun to paint this part of the body, such as the so-called metrosexual men. A well-known example of an attractive man who paints his nails is the master of seduction Mystery, who paints his nails as a technique to attract the attention of people of the opposite sex, which works very well for him.

The bad thing about painting them is that sometimes people do it quite badly, leaving this part of the body very rare, with parts that fall off, irregular paint and completely horrible designs, causing the opposite effect to what we want.

For this reason, it is mandatory to make a well-created tutorial on how to paint your nails correctly, since this way you can have your nails always perfect, without making any mistake.

What do you need to paint your nails?

  •  A nail clipper.
  •  Transparent nail polish.
  •  A nail brush.
  •  Nail polish of the color we want.
  •  An orange stick.
  •  Solvent for nails.

Instructions for painting nails

  1. Prepare the nails:
One of the mistakes that I see most people who decide to paint their nails is that they decide to perform this task directly, without taking into account the previous state in which they were, which is a mistake because the painting will be ugly and rare. First of all, it is to take a nail clipper to decide what size we are going to prefer to have the nails, since they may be too long for us. Now we must clean the nails well with solvent, to remove the remains of the previous nail polish and paint on clean completely. Finally we will use a nail brush to remove dirt from them and an orange stick to hollow out the cuticles so that they do not become grown.

  2. First layer of enamel:
Once the nails are in perfect magazine condition, we will start by applying the nail polish to them. This enamel is applied so that the nails shine and to create a waterproof layer that prevents the paint from leaving, being something like the varnish of the wood. We will apply a layer of enamel on top of each of the nails. Before applying the enamel you should shake a little to prevent lumps from coming out and the way to apply it is to do it slowly, gently and taking small pieces so that the layer is completely uniform. Once the enamel is applied, we must wait a little for it to dry, so that the nail absorbs it well.

  3. Paint the nails:
Now that we have applied the transparent enamel and let it dry, we are going to apply a couple of layers of nail polish, so that it is perfect. The way to do it is similar to that of enamel, since we must do it slowly, softly and taking little amount to prevent non-uniform layers full of lumps from forming We are going to apply a layer for all the nails and wait for it to dry completely before applying a second layer of the same color, similar to what painters do when they are painting a wall of a house.

  4. Second layer of transparent enamel:
Once we have the nails painted, we will apply another layer of enamel so that the nails gain in shine, quality and hardness of them. It will be applied with the nails totally dry and applying it gently and without haste. Once it is applied we must wait a little until it dries completely and we can already show off our nails perfectly painted that will undoubtedly dazzle everyone.

Tips for painting nails

  • Custom designs: It is not necessary to apply a single nail color, since we can make custom nail designs to several colors if we have enough skill for it. The key is to have drawing skills and respect the hierarchy of layers of paint, that is, you must first paint the bottom of the nail and then the details by colors, letting the layers dry and applying transparent enamel at the end.
  • We have painted our hands: If we have painted our hand or foot when painting our nails and we have filled ourselves with enamel or nail polish, nothing happens, since using a little solvent and a paper cloth and applying it on the nail, we can completely eliminate the nail polish from the hand.
