Makeup is especially important, as good makeup could hide some details you don’t like from your eyes, provide you with a change you want, and make them stand out or make your face look much better. On the other hand, a bad eye makeup will attract all the attention but in a negative sense, not only for having chosen the wrong colors or not having made up correctly, but you could even be highlighting some defect or something that you really want to hide.

Parts of the eye
Before starting we are going to clarify some parts of the eye, while we perform an eye makeup we can apply different products to different parts of the eye to achieve great results, so we are going to point them out briefly so that you are not left with any doubt.
Arch under the eyebrow. As its name suggests, it is the part of the eye normally hard (there is bone there) that is located under the eyebrow. This part is normally illuminated to highlight the look and makeup.
Banana area. This is the arch that forms the bone of the eye cavity. Some people don’t have as much space between the eyelid and eyebrow, so this area and the anterior can form one.
Basin. The basin will be the deep part that we find between the eye and the bone of the banana area. Some people may have this part more sunken and others outward.
Mobile eyelid. It is the eyelid of our eye, the one we open and close.
The lash line is the line that forms the roots of our eyelashes. Both the lower and upper makeup are made up.
Water line. When we slightly raise the eyelid upwards (the upper eyelid) or lower the lower eyelid we can see how under the lash line we find a slight line that gives the oval shape to our eyes. These will be the water lines.
Finally we find the area of the tear, which as you all know is the area where the tear is (where tears occur). And they are located at the end of the eye closest to the nose. In this case this end is usually made up with very light or striking tones to highlight the eye and makeup.
Commodities
To start making up your eyes you need some basic products, you do not need to be very expensive, and there are actually low cost products that provide great finishes. In addition, you do not need to get too many products at first, only with some you can achieve very good makeup and then little by little buy more colors or other products that catch your attention.
Eye shadows. You can get a palette in nude tones. These palettes typically include beige, brown, and black shadows, which is perfect for starters. If you prefer instead to buy loose shades then get one in beige tone, one in dark brown, light brown or salmon, one gray and one black.
Eye pencil. The basic eye pencil par excellence is black. The khol type are creamier and do not need to be sharpened, but this is a matter of trying them and seeing what you like best. Remember that for the traditional eye pencil you will also need a sharpener.
Mascara. When we talk about mascaras we can spend hours, since there is a great variety due to the effects they can give. You will find them normal, with false eyelash effect, loaded effect, elongation effect, etc. Choose one that you like and also give that effect that you like. For example, if you have very short eyelashes you may be interested in buying a mask with an elongation effect.
Brushes. It is not something completely mandatory, you could apply the shadows with your fingers or with the sponges that the palettes usually bring, but to get better results and facilitate the application I recommend that you get some basic brushes. I repeat the same, they do not need to be renowned and that you leave a great fortune in them, since some low cost are good and last a lot. Perhaps in this case you should buy a pack since this way they are cheaper. You should get at least three flat brushes to apply the shadows, so you will have one for color and you will not have to be washing them every day. It is also recommended that you get a pen type, since they are ideal for blurring and a bevel that you can use to make lines or to make up your eyebrows.
Other products: although they are not essential, we recommend that you get an eyelash curling iron, since this will comb your eyelashes and shape them. As for making up the eyebrows you can buy a specific eyebrow product or manage with eye shadows, that’s up to you. You could also get some eye pencil in brown tone, with which you can put on makeup every day in the morning and that the line is not as marked as with black. Finally, you could also buy an eyeliner type marker, liquid or gel in black. These eyeliners have a very marked effect and sometimes you make a line with one of these and little else you will be more than ready. Once you feel comfortable with makeup you can expand the range of colors of eye shadows, eye pencils and even mascaras and learn how to combine and apply them to achieve great results. Eyebrows
The eyebrows are a very important area in eye makeup, and instead they are usually very forgotten. The eyebrows are the frame of the eyes and these frame your eyes and provide the finished and remarkable touch to your look. The eyebrows also have their tendencies sometimes they are worn more naked, others more marked. We, on the other hand, recommend that you take them well profiled and filled but in a very natural way.
To make up your eyebrows there are many products that you can use specific for eyebrows, for example there are creamy shadows that usually come in cases of two shades, one darker and one lighter. We can also find another product that is applied with a brush that is already incorporated, as if it were a mascara. You should always choose a shade of the color of your eyebrows and another a little lighter. We will apply the dark tone in small amounts and well blurred in the thickest half of the eyebrow. The lighter tone will be used in the narrowest half of the eyebrow (from half to the temple). Despite all these products designed for eyebrows you can always do something much cheaper but that also gives very good results. It consists of fixing your eyebrows following the previous procedure but using eye shadows and a bevel brush. Take also a small amount of product and apply it blurring very well.
Basic makeup that every woman should know
Basic makeup by day. For this makeup we will need: a very light shadow in beige tone, a salmon shadow or in earth tone, mascara and brown eye pencil.
Start by applying some of the beige shade under the arch of the eyebrow, then apply the salmon or dirt shade to the movable eyelid and blur the finish up and out. Then outline the inside of the upper water line with the eye pencil. Finally if you have it use an eyelash curling iron to give a defined shape to your eyes and if you do not go directly to apply the mascara always from the bottom up and zig zag.
Smoked makeup by day. For this makeup we will need a beige eye shadow, an earth tone shadow of medium intensity, a dark brown shadow but with intensity and that does not look black, an eye pencil in brown tone darker than the brown tone chosen with the eye shadow and mascara.
We will start by applying a little beige shade under the arch of the eyebrow, then extends the light earth shadow throughout the mobile eyelid and blurs throughout the basin and the banana area, the color should be noticed but slightly blurred in this last area. Then apply the dark shadow only on the mobile eyelid. Then we will make the top line drawn very close to the line of the tabs. We will also draw the flush line of the lower tabs, then pass the eyeliner on the upper and lower water lines. Finally curl the eyelashes with the curling iron and apply mascara.
Smoked makeup at night. To make this smoke we will need a gray shadow in medium tone, a beige shadow and a black shadow. An mascara, a black eye pencil and if you want an eyeliner in pen or black cream. Let’s start as always by applying the beige shadow under the arch of the eyebrow to give it luminosity. Then we will apply the gray shadow throughout the mobile eyelid, the basin and the banana area. It blurs very well so that no gross cuts are noticed in the makeup. Then we will apply the black shadow on the mobile eyelid and subtly blur the area where it joins with the gray tone. With the eye pencil or your favorite eyeliner make a flush line of both the lower and upper eyelashes. With the rest of the black shadow that you have left on the brush, blur a little of it on the lower eyelid just below the area of the eyelashes. It should be subtle and nothing too wide or overloaded. With the black pencil we will also draw the water lines both lower and upper. We will apply with a few touches a little beige eye shadow in the tear area. Finally we will curl the eyelashes with the curling iron and apply the mascara on the upper and lower eyelashes from the root up or down the lower ones and in zigzag.
