To avoid allergens in your home, you need to try to identify what you are allergic to. Work with your doctor to find this out. With this knowledge, you can cut back on the allergens in your home. For example, you may be allergic to your pet. You can then decide what steps to take, such as keeping your pet outside or limiting your pet to certain areas of your home.

Many of these steps are simple and are easy to do. Others may mean changes to your home and furnishings—such as removing carpeting or adding an air-conditioning system—that can be costly or difficult to do. If you live in a rented apartment or house, you may not be able to make some changes. You will need to decide which ones you can do. Try to use as many of them as you can.

By avoiding or reducing your contact with indoor allergens, you may be able to:

Reduce your allergy symptoms and feel much better.
Manage your allergy symptoms without medicine or with fewer medicines.
Reduce your risk of developing complications of long-term (chronic) allergic rhinitis, such as sinusitis

To reduce allergens inside your home, you can:

Remove items where allergens build up, such as stuffed animals or rugs.
Use regular cleaning and housekeeping to prevent allergens from building up.

Measures to control allergens throughout your home include:

Controlling dust and dust mites, such as dusting regularly and washing bed linens in hot water. Dust contains most of the allergens in your home.
Controlling animal dander and other pet allergens, which includes keeping pets only in certain areas of your home.
Controlling molds, which includes cleaning bathtubs and showers monthly.

Because adults spend one-third of their time and children spend half of their time in their bedrooms, it is important that you take steps to prevent allergens in this room.

Polluted air does not cause allergies, but it can irritate the nose and lungs. This may make it more likely that you will have symptoms.

Avoid tobacco smoke, smoke from wood-burning stoves, and fumes from kerosene heaters.
If you have a wood-burning stove, try to use one that is airtight and does not leak smoke into your home

Keep your tongue clean.

People often think that the odor is usually caused by decaying food particles and bacteria in their mouth, but they seldom notice that tongue is also a part on which contribute this odor. So it is very important to gently brush your tongue on top of normal brush and floss your teeth, so that we can get rid of even more bacteria. Quoting an expert view on tongue, “A clean tongue goes a long way to warding off bad breath. Your tongue microscopically is like a shaggy carpet. That’s why dry mouth, often caused by certain medications medical conditions, leads to odor problems. By washing away food particles and bacteria, saliva helps to eliminate odor, too. An expert with his opinion, “When you chew gum it makes you salivate and the more saliva you have in your mouth the fewer bacteria you have. It not only mechanically washes bacteria out, but we have antiseptic and enzymes in our saliva that kill bacteria.”

Drink more water.

One seldom knows that by drinking a lot water do contribute into a better breath. Water can help keep the bacteria in your mouth to a minimum. Drinking water has a lot of health benefits, and preventing bad breath is one of them.

What is Carboxy Therapy?

Carboxytherapy is the new, simple and proven technique that can dramatically improve the appearance of cellulite by improving local tissue metabolism and perfusion. Treatments are rapid, comfortable and effective for a high percentage of patients.

How is Carboxy therapy performed?

It is a non surgical method. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is infiltrated into the subcutaneous tissue through a tiny 30G needle (0.3mm in diameter). From the injection point, the carbon dioxide diffuses easily into adjacent tissues.

How does the carbon dioxide work?

Carboxytherapy works in two complimentary ways. Firstly, and quite simply carbon dioxide mechanically kills fat cells. Secondly, it also has a strong vasodilatory effect (causes dilation of blood vessels) on the capillaries in the area. Wider vessels mean bigger and stronger blood flow to the area, which means more oxygen. The increase in oxygen is important because it eliminates the built up fluid from between the cells. The end result is fewer fat cells and firmer subcutaneous tissue.

Is it painful?

No. Some patients can experience a light tingling sensation near the injection site. It disappears within a matter of seconds. As a result of the increased circulation, the area surrounding the injection site may feel warmer for 10 to 20 minutes.

What should I avoid after treatment?

There are no restrictions on any activities after the treatment. You can go right back to what you were doing as soon as you step out of Clinic.

How many sessions are necessary?

Between 10 and 20 sessions are necessary to eliminate cellulite. Ideally they should be carried out every other day, although sometimes two or even one session per week will be enough. This will depend on the extent of your cellulite. Each session lasts between 10 to 15 minutes

How many sessions before I see an improvement?

After the 5th session you will see that your skin looks noticeably healthier. Around the 8-10 session mark, you will appreciate that your subcutaneous tissue is firmer. Before the treatment program ends you will have firmer, cellulite free skin.

How long do the benefits last?

This depends entirely on you. If you choose to follow a healthy diet complemented by regular exercise, the cellulite can stay away for years. If you tend to succumb to culinary temptations and never quite find the time for that 10km run, the cellulite will return much quicker. On average, it’ll be 5 to 6 months before you see it starting to creep back in. It’s best to nip it in the bud at this stage. If you’re vigilant, 3 to 5 sessions will get you back to smooth firm skin.

Carbon dioxide is naturally produced by the cells in our bodies every day of our life. It is a by product of metabolism. It is transported in the blood and exhaled through the lungs.

Many do not know that fingernails may shows your health conditions. But how accurate it is, I am not sure. But some say, it reflects more to our heart and blood conditions. Maybe you want to refer this more to the experts, as here I would like to touch on the care taking of our fingernails.

It is not that difficult to maintain a good, clean fingernails. Here are some tips that I got from WebMD.

Always keep your nails clean & dry
Never ever practice nail biting or picking
Apply moisturizer to your nails & cuticles every day.
File your nails in one direction and round the tip slighly, rather than filinf to a point.
Do not remove the cuticles or clean too deeply under your nails.
Do not dig out ingrown toenails. Let the expert do it.
Avoid ‘acetone’ or ‘formaldehyde’ type of nail polish removers.
Bring your own instruments if you get frequent manicures.
If you have artificial nails, check regularly for green discoloration.
Practise balanced diet eating & take vitamins containing biotin

And do remember that if you are having some problem with your fingernails, try not to treat it by yourself, maybe it is better to let the doctor deals with it.

A study conducted by Univerity of Ohio found that popular home whiteners reduce the hardeness of teeth enamel. These products generally contains either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide to bleach teeth by producing unstable free radical that attack pigment molecules in the organic parts of the enamel, making teeth appear whiter.

There is also some significant reduction in nano hardeness of enamel. So even thought it may not be visable to human eye, its important for research because that’s how it will improve the product.
